2. About CALMER
CALMER provides neuro‑behavioural, co‑designed and neuro‑affirming support that helps people and families understand the relationship between emotions, behaviour and the environment. Our services include early childhood support, therapeutic support, behaviour support, training and other programs and workshops designed to build capacity in individuals, families, practitioners and organisations. We believe every person has the right to feel safe, connected, heard and understood and that support should be co‑designed with individuals, families, carers and professionals.

4. Services, Events and Programs
4.1 Information on Services
CALMER provides information about our programs, workshops and services through this Website. Our Early Childhood Supports emphasise a child‑first, neuro‑affirming perspective and are co‑designed with families, carers, educators and therapists. Therapeutic Supports focus on creating safe, authentic environments where people can thrive. Behaviour Support recognises that behaviour is shaped by a chain of events and contributing factors. Training programs offer practical tools, certificates, and continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
4.2 Booking and Attendance
Some services and events require registration or ticket purchase through third‑party platforms (e.g., Humanitix) as indicated on the Website. By registering or purchasing tickets, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of that third‑party platform, including payment, cancellation and refund policies. CALMER is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third‑party service provider.
4.3 Donations and Sponsorship
If you choose to support CALMER through donations or sponsorships, your contribution will help fund neuro‑affirming training and learning resources, co‑designed research, practical tools for practitioners and families, and development of the CALMER framework. Donations of AUD $2 or more may be tax deductible in Australia. Sponsorship enquiries can be made via our contact channels. Donations and sponsorships processed through third‑party platforms are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
4.4 Volunteering
CALMER welcomes volunteers and values contributions from people with lived experience, professional insight or a desire to support our work. Volunteering opportunities are co‑designed and may require screening, orientation or agreements. Please contact us for further information.
